Artefact Tour

In September and October 2009, Camilla Hannan, Tarab and Thembi Soddell conducted the Artefact Tour. The idean was to collect feld recordings in different locations and then use those recordings as part of performances in the respective towns. These included Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide, Alice Springs, Darwin and Perth where the trio featured as part of the 2009 Totally Huge Music Festival. The tour was supported by Sound Travellers.

Collaborations

Vanilla - with Van Sowerwine

Vanilla is a collaboration between Camilla Hannan and visual artist Van Sowerwine.

Van creates minature scenes and handmade puppets which are then projected via video feed. Camilla creates live soundtrack to these scenes using processed location recordings and foley.

In August 2007, Van and Camilla attended an artist residency at MoKs Center for Art and Social Practice in Mooste Estonia. A new Vanilla work was created and premiered in Tartu Estonia in September 2007.

Vanilla have performed at the Other Film Festival Brisbane and Articulating Space Melboune.
